anyone can have a pantry

I have longed for a pantry for years.  Finally I have one.  It is nothing fancy, but it makes me happy to have it.  The white shelves were in place in the house, the wooden shelves I got at a yard sale for ten dollars.  I created this space in our kitchen.  Behind the wooden shelves in where we keep our recycling.  Our kitchen appliances take up the bottom white shelves, and our coffee maker and toaster take up the left hand side of the top white shelf.  My pantry is small, but I made it happen, and it satisfies me.  Of course I still dream of having the big white pantry off the kitchen full of shelves to use as I see fit.  But this is now and that is a dream.

Want a pantry?  You can make it happen, even if it’s only one small shelf that too high up for your kids to knock your canned goods off of.
