chicken rangling

Today I pounded in posts and ran chicken wire to create the front line of a fence around our pine tree area.  When this section is finished, the chickens run will be expanded.  They have pretty well torn up the yard.  We will now replant grass everywhere else.  I will keep them penned up (not free range) in their expanded run until the grass has grown in.  By then we will have a chicken tractor and they can be moved to especially luscious patches of grass to feast.  Until then I will sprout them yummy goodness and feed these sprouts to them as treats.
