rag rug finished

Last night I finished the rag rug.  It looks great.  It is smaller than I had hoped, but quite lovely.

Last night I also freshened up one of my stepdaughter’s older dolls.  It had been attacked several years ago by her little dog, or by our cat, I can’t remember which.  I had always intended to fix her torn ruffles, but never did.  Until last night.  Now she has fresh white lace rimming her bonnet and the hem of her skirt.  And she has a nice new white patterned ribbon tied at her neck.

I ALSO finished my first felted easter egg.  I have been wanting to make them for several years.  The project of making a basket full of felted eggs always seemed overwhelming.  This year I decided that I would make one a year.  the holidays keep rolling around, and eventually I will have a full basket.  My egg is a dragon egg.  It is two toned purple with a twist of firey green wool.  I put in on my table in a cute basket my friend made.
