Today was a heavy garden day.  Got supplies from my favorite farm supply – Naomi’s Urban Farm Supply.  Then walked back and took advantage of the overcaset weather by transplanting in nasturtiums, kale and tomatoes.  I also weeded the back bed.

Yesterday I trimmed up one of our hedges.

Harvested three onions today and lots of leeks recently.  Soon the onion and leek patch will be transformed into space filled with tomatoes.  The tomatoes will harvest out after camp is done, or just at the very end.  So then when they are ready for harvest, I will have free time to process them.  Finished off the last jars of diced tomatoes making pasta sauce the other night.

The garlic from last year will be all used up just about when this year’s garlic harvests in July.
