Starting Anew

I am planning garden beds for my new house.  Just two or three small raised beds.  The backyard actually gets some decent sun, much to my surprise.  So I was thinking of putting one (or two) raised beds back there on the left side of the yard.  Our landlord has given us permission to do whatever we’d like in the backyard, so that is nice.

My husband and his stepson just assembled the chicken coop on the right side. Soon the fencing will go up and the chickens will be enclosed. Then we’ll need a chicken tractor for them so that they can have some freedom and some fresh dirt.

The strip of grass between the sidewalk and the road out front of our house gets almost full sun, so I’m debating putting two raised beds out there as well.
