Front to Back

Sewed the front of my quilt to the back piece today. There is no batting because I want it to be flexible and not too heavy. It will mostly lay on the ground and be a playspace for River.

The sewing went well. The backing got pinched a few times in my first few rows, because the front is pressed cotton and the back is stretchy cotton. I’m hoping to rip out a few sections of about 3 seams and just go over it to make it flat. But once I got the hang of it, it went smoothly.

Now it’s time to bind it. I’ll keep you posted.
