Top shelf of my refrigerator

I know it’s a blurry picture, but I just had to share. I feel so proud. Look at all this home canned goodness that my family is eating.

I have been doing an excellent job of keeping my fridge clean, knowing what’s in there, and not wasting. This is in late part due to the fact that there is a lot less food in our fridge lately. We have been trying to be frugal in our spending, and one of the best ways that I can impact that is by shopping for basics and bulk. Snacking has suffered a little, but I sure do feel on top of it. And of course there’s always crackers pickles and cheese to be had, or homemade granola, or fresh baked bread.
