A simple dinner is made festive by the additions of some home grown garden goodness.
Tonight we have simple polenta and store bought sauce. The polenta is fried up in olive oil with homegrown garlic and thyme. I dressed this up with fresh swiss chard from the garden, the stalks cut up and used as toppings for the leaves, along with fresh grown chives. Homemade vinaigrette dressing and a drizzle of the garlic oil serve as salad dressing.
