Small Successes

Some things are going right. I am feeding my daughter a homegrown cucumber. Each day I eat delicious cherry tomatoes and basil from the garden. We have groceries, a dishwasher full of clean dishes, and a drawer full of clean diapers. I have health insurance.

I have a husband I love and an incredibly helpful stepdaughter who I love. My baby is healthy and growing. I have a home to live in, and I will have another to live in.

Some days you just have to count your blessings.
