December Planting

A few days ago we planted some flower bulbs along our fence line. The bulbs were already sprouting, I hope they will do ok, I know it is a tad late for planting them, but I have hope that come spring they will add beauty to our yard.

Here are the chickens free ranging while we plant.

River helped too. This little fold-up camp shovel was just her size.

We also planted some large purple kale plants into our garden. These beauties were on sale for a dollar a piece outside of rite aid. They were being sold as seasonal decorations, but I knew better.
