One Day

Washing beet greens to make Beans and Greens. The beets the greens came off of will be pickled and canned later this week.

Here they are

I made blueberry muffins to go with the beans and greens to take to a potluck.

The dollhouse that has lived with us for 6 1/2 years is in need of freshening up. I have primered the once red roof and taken the shelf paper off an interior wall. Both the roof and the wall will be the same color as our new wall.

Cats in the dog food always.

Planted radishes, turnips, spinach, and beets in the garden. I put up a cloche, but it promptly blew over.

The spinach that I started indoors is getting big.

As is the kale.

All the bits weave together to form a lifestyle. A lifestyle that values self reliance and community. And each bit makes you more self reliant.
