Tomato Havest, October 12th, 2015 


Most days during the harvest season the garden offers up a handful or two of produce, just about right for the fresh eating of a family. But today we got a right harvest of tomatoes. Most of the larger tomatoes will go into a batch of salsa on the stove, headed for canning cars. A few slicers we’ll keep for eating fresh. And the cherry and pear tomatoes will be lovely snacks for a snacking family.
