River’s Hope Chest

Here in our home we are both old fashioned and modern. We carry on old traditions, while participating in the digital global  world happening around us.

Each of our three children and stepchildren have received a hope chest filled with kitchen gear, dishes, beautiful linens, and bath supplies. When they first leave the safety of home these hope chests will be continued help from the family unit they have just left. Today River got the chest for her already started set of hope supplies.

  1. My mom got me a hope chest and gave me special crystal glassware in it. I still have the chest and the dishes. It’s a nice tradition.

What'd ya think?
